The tutor’s main responsibility is to consult individually with students from CSB/SJU and SOT/SEM to assess the strengths and weaknesses of a piece of that student’s writing in regard to structure, content, clarity, and editing issues.  The tutor and student then work together to improve both the writer’s writing skills and the specific paper in question.

The student will can deteriorating Graduate Papers and Theses for the School of Theology/Seminary. Skills needed are: respect for the authors of the papers; ease in usingthe scanning machine; care in disassembling and reassembling the materials; accuracy in checking that all pages are present; flexibility in letting others use the scanning machine when necessary.

The graduate student Hospitality Assistant position is a student employee position. The Hospitality Assistant will be responsible for planning, set-up, and clean up for events in Emmaus Hall and for occasional School of Theology*Seminary events in other venues.  It is expected that the Hospitality Assistant be creative in fulfilling her/his duties.
